What is unique about the pocket spring?

Pocket springs differ significantly from  bonnells.

They are made of high carbon wire in the following ranges of parameters:

wire diameters: 1.6, 1.7, 1.8, 1.9, 2.0 mm,
spring diameters: 60, 65 or 70 mm.
6-coil and 6.5-coil systems,
height from 80 up to 210 mm

Pocket springs are located in individual pockets made from non-woven polypropylene cloth that make the unit.

Advantages of pocket units

The biggest advantage of pocket units is to place each spring in a separate pocket. This allows each spring to work independently, and the unit is characterized by high point elasticity. Pocket mattresses provide more comfortable rest and sleep, and they are considered healthier.

Types of pocket units

We specialize in manufacturing two types of pocket units:

Zero zone pocket

All springs in the unit are made of wire of the same diameter. This means that the unit retains equal flexibility throughout the surface. Zero zone pocket units can be successfully utilized both in mattresses and upholstered furniture.nestorsprings_pocket_bstref_mg

Zone pockets

Units are made of wire of different diameters that allows obtaining different levels of hardness of each zone. The arrangement of hardness zones of the unit is adapted to the anatomy of the human body which allows obtaining an extremely high level of comfort of rest and sleep. Normally, we produce 7- or 9-zone units. The number of hardness zones of units depends on clients’ individual needs.
